Our stay was great albeit somewhat short. We enjoyed some golfing, the Christmas Boat Parade in Cape Coral and last but not least your nice house.

We are back at work and home in Wisconsin. We had such a lovely vacation while staying at your home. We enjoyed some kayaking in the Everglades on Sanibel Island, spent a day at Fort Myers Beach, and enjoyed the local restaurants. However, most of our time was just spent relaxing on the lanai and enjoying the beautiful home. We truly needed a rest prior to our wedding, and the tough winter ahead of us in Wisconsin. We hope to come and enjoy again some day! Again, thank you for the lovely opportunity!
Do you have a calendar that is viewable online for 2009 so we can see what is available? Also please consider us if you should get a short notice cancel and need to fill the week. We are able to react quickly.

We both want to thank you for the opportunity to rent your home during our trip to Florida for our son’s wedding. The villa was close to our son and all of the events regarding the wedding and especially close to the islands and Fort Myers beach. Our daughters and their husbands especially enjoyed the beaches and the islands. Our daughters and our son were there as small children and remembered all of the shells on the beaches and especially wanted their husbands to see them. The villa was well appointed as you thought of everything that someone might need and very comfortable as well. The notebook regarding the villa and the various messages located near specific items was very helpful. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your home and look forward to returning the next time we travel to Florida for any length of time.

Thank you for your welcome home message! We had an absolutely marvelous time!! We wrote a message in the "journal" you have on the table in the foyer---but happy to tell you now how enthusiastic we are about Sanderling Villa and the week we spent there. We met your next door neighbor--what a nice gentleman. And spent many wonderful afternoons in the pool, then reading at poolside. We did enjoy exploring the area as well. My parents were "snowbirds" for many years on Sanibel so I was familiar with the area. We noted that the water around Ft. Myers was not as blue as it has been in the past. We were told that the rivers had been let out into the gulf to avoid flooding should the hurricane come through--thus the reason for the "coffee-colored" water. It was still warm and lovely, and we found some good shells while roaming the beaches.
We look forward to returning in the future.Again, thank you for sharing your home with others.

We had another great holiday in Fort Myers and wish we were still there. The storm did not affect our holiday much and having the shutters in place gave us confidence that we would be OK when the storm arrived. Your villa proved to be a very good base for our holiday again, it is nice to stay in such a comfortable and well maintained villa. We look forward to staying in your villa again in the future.

It was the most amazing warm week! Just love having the opportunity to stay at your place while we are in Ft Myers. It was super nice to have swimming available any time we wanted it. Swam every day but the last day as were busy packing to head out.

Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much we enjoyed your villa last week. We had a great time. We noticed that you have added two new leather couches and a new dishwasher! Both were wonderful additions. It is obvious that you are taking the utmost care of your property. This was our 2nd year, and I have a feeling we'll be trying to book again for next spring.

Greetings from Frozen Ohio!! We made it home just fine and are already wishing we were back in sunny Florida in your fabulous home!! Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa! We can't say enough wonderful things about your home.
It was so nice to get a welcome telephone call from you - I can honestly say that's never happened to us before - it took us both by surprise to say the least!! The pool was great and the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet - just what we were looking for - especially after coming home from our son's baseball games!
You have been adopted by the Bluffton University family of parents and supporters simply by making our first trip back to Florida after last year an easy transition for us. I don't know if the news of our boys bus crash in Atlanta made it all the way to the UK last year, but we lost five players in the crash so just the thought of the trip made everyone concerned a little uneasy this year. Happily all turned all well - the boys flew and your lovely home was the haven that we needed to unwind at the end of each day!
We loved it so much we're hoping to stay for 2 weeks next year - one week to watch our son pitch and the next just for us to have a week to ourselves in the sun. I don't know how far in advance that you book your home - we'd be looking at the 2 weeks
Like I said you are now "unofficial" Bluffton U. Baseball Fans and it was a good week for our son James "Haus" Hausman - he was named conference player of the week for his pitching efforts - what else can I say - you two made our vacation this year!! Thanks again for everything, God Bless You Both,

We have returned safely to Canada, snow and all. Hard to believe three days ago we were readying for the beach and now are getting kids ready for school in boots and snowpants. The drive home was long, and we were sad to leave the great weather and atmosphere behind. Good thing spring is around the corner.Your villa was incredible and felt like home for our vacation. Even with record breaking cold days (only one was really chilly) we had a perfect vacation.
We most likely will return next year.Hope everything was left as we found it. Thank you so much for your phone call-your concern for our kids' safety was very nice! We will be in touch re: renting again next year!

We enjoyed our stay in Ft. Myers and your home was just what we needed every day when we returned from our ventures around the area. We used the pool every day except one, it was a little breezy and cool that late afternoon, around 70. We had great weather, 80's every day except for the one day it reached 78.
We enjoyed your home greatly and would recommend it highly to anyone. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

We had a lovely time at your villa and enjoyed our stay in Fort Meyers. It is the third time we have been, and we were able to show our daughter and son in law all the sights. The beach on Sanibel was a firm favourite, although we noticed the hurricane damage from 2004. Our little granddaughter loved the pool. The weather was very good for most of the time, although there were a couple of days in the second week when we had a violent thunderstorm and the rain just lashed down. Very spectacular and it didn't trouble us much as we had some indoor things to do.

We all enjoyed our stay tremendously. The location is perfect for all of our favorite things to do there, and to commute to the islands where we spend much of our time. We were also able to relax "at home" when we wanted to and not go anywhere at all. Ken & I hope to reserve again for next winter and extend our stay by inviting some of our family to join us. We are just beginning to discuss how that might happen.
